Scene setting on the K100D

I noticed a "pet" setting on the camera. I use mostly the manual settings and the priority adaptive settings but have ignored other features. I typically use a fixed ISO but I set the ISO to range over 200-800 and used the scene function setting "pet".

From Dabob

The result, in this case, were images shot wide-open at maximum speed with continuous auto-focus and ISO 200. I believe this helped capture the Cedar Waxwings in a pleasant exposure. My own settings would have not engaged the continuous auto- focus and given up speed for depth and used ISO 400.
